Ironheart HERS Raters began with Melissa “Mel” Buchanan, a Certified HERS Rater with a genuine passion for making homes healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable for the families who live in them.

We believe Homeowners and Contractors deserve inspections that are clear, honest, supportive, and centered on the well-being of both the home and the people living in it.

Ironheart is rooted in the communities serving Northern Nevada. As well as providing service throughout : Nevada County, El Dorado County, Alpine County, Amador County, Calaveras County and Tuolumne County.

We bring authenticity, integrity, and a detail-oriented approach to every inspection, treating each home as if it were our own.
